Event DetailsMay is Mental Health Awareness Month and the Ankeny Girls Softball Association (AGSA) is proud to put on The You Matter Ankeny Classic for Mental Health – more than just softball. We’ll be playing ball! This tournament will be a 4GG! But your registration provides you, your coaches, your parents, and your players with so much more!
This cause means a great deal to the Tournament Director and we know it touches the lives of many of you, your players, and your families.

Awards given for 1st and 2nd place from bracket play in each division

A You Matter Champion award given to the team displaying the greatest in-tournament sportsmanship

Connections to local resources available on-site at the tournament to learn more about services in the area and programs they offer in support of mental health and wellness
- A percentage of merchandise sales provided to a local non-profit organization dedicated to mental health support and suicide prevention efforts – 2025 recipient is Mindspring
