The CIS Sandlot Games is an opportunity for teams to find game-like experiences!
Elevate your player development through the Sandlot Games

- Teams can use for a weekend warmup.

The CIS Sandlot Games are fun, fast paced, exciting and an awesome way to meet and interact with other players from the CIS Gauntlet.
Teams who win their division will receive 50 points to their USSSA Points Race Standings.

Additional Note
- Uniforms
- Players will wear their team uniforms.
- Defense
- Players can rotate defense positions between innings and will play all positions during the event.
- Offense
- The entire line-up will bat
- Team Roster
- Guest Players are allowed
- Format
- Teams will be placed in 4 team bracket.
- Winners of 1st game will play for championship.
- Losers of 1st game will play for 3rd place.
- Check-In
- Arrive at least 45 minutes early to draw for 1st round opponent and field number

Rules
USSSA and CIS Rules will be followed except for the following exceptions.
- No new inning after 60 minutes (8U – 14U | 5 innings)
- Rotate defensive position each inning throughout the event.
- If batter #6 makes last out of first game, then batter #7 starts the 2nd game batting order.
- No walks.
- No bunts.
- Runners may take secondary lead when ball is “pitched”.
- Batted ball hitting pitching mound L screen is dead and batter is awarded 1st base.
- Thrown ball hitting any screens or pitching machine is dead and runners award 1 base.
- Defensive coach will feed ball into pitching machine.
- 8U-10U Divisions
- 35 ft. pitching distance.
- 12U Divisions
- 40 ft. pitching distance.
- 14U Divisions
- 43 ft. pitching distance.
- One umpire will be supplied.
Awards
- All players receive a CIS Sandlot bat bag tag.
- 1st & 2nd placed teams earn a CIS Ring or Medal.
- 1st placed team players choose their Team MVP, Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP.
